3 Photovoltaic solar
You will make electricity from solar panels. The electricity you make will be in direct current, DC. You will then have to convert it to alternate current AC for your home appliances and have some stored in the batteries. This will make sure that you will have electricity to use at night. Although the system is simple, the use of photovoltaic solar can be expensive depending on what you are going to choose. You can buy ready-made solar panels and have them installed into your house. It may be more reliable but it is rather expensive. You will have to spend several thousand dollars for this. Or you can decide to build your own solar system for your home. With just a couple of hundred dollars, you can make a small system for your home use.
